What is the Cold Fusion Extensions Method?

We've heard about the Hot Fusion method numerous times but we rarely hear COLD FUSION and even less rarely see it offered in hair salons.

Different stylists may have different perceptions of cold fusion extensions method but for the most part COLD FUSION means extensions applied without heat or glue.

Some of you reading this will ask how is that possible? And no this is not the weaving, sawing or braiding method.

I will describe below the several known Cold Fusion methods:

Single strand extensions with a ring

Every strand is attached to a little ring that can be easily closed or reopened with special pliers. Rinex extensions are an example of this method. The ring and loop that come with the extensions allow you to slide your own hair into the ring, close the ring with pliers and not use heat or glue. As the matter of fact, Rinex extensions are reusable, do not harm your own hair and are not messy.

ULTRASONIC 5000

This system is used by Great lengths hair experts. It bonds each extension with a revolutionary “cold fusion” process that does not use any heat but a specialized patented “ultrasonic wave” tong. This patented system allows for the absolute finest hair extensions possible even on extremely fine and thinning hair. With its state of the art ultra sonic wave technology and all natural protein called Keratin, Cold Fusion uses no heat and has a seemless point of attachment. It is hard to come by a salon that offers this method but here is one.
